Former member of South African Parliament, Special Advisor to the late Nelson Mandela (Former South African President). Ebrahim Rasool is a veteran anti-apartheid campaigner, who has held leadership positions in the United Democratic Front (UDF) and the African National Congress (ANC), and spent time in prison and was under house arrest during apartheid.
Sophie Stephens – Lead Organiser, Citizens UK, (North London Citizens)
Formally selected to deliver the Movement for Change which included training 1,000 people during the Labour Party leadership election.
Jean Mclean – Head of Mobilisation, Save the Children
Former Head of Communications at the National Union of Students (NUS) and helped mobilised 52,000 people to participate in the biggest student demonstration in 30 years.
Abdurrhman Belhaj – Senior Financial Architect, Bank of York Mellon
During the Arab Spring, mobilised and lead a group of exiled Libyan community members to create a 24hr news agency online that became one of the trusted sources of news, and the face of the Libyan revolution on social media, and to major news agencies such as the BBC, Al-Jazeera and CNN.

A trustee at Muslim Youth Helpline and on the board of Directors of Rooms of Our Own, a social enterprise in London aimed at providing space for women’s businesses and campaigning groups. Nabila Pathan has extensive experience of campaigning and lobbying for women’s rights issues, locally, regionally and nationally.
