The BMHC has spent the past few years improving, sustaining and readying its infrastructure to enable it to function as a public building – to serve its local residents and provide services and facilities that will be of benefit to everybody.

We are now on the verge of reaching a very important milestone in our quest to become a community service provider. Given the rooms and facilities about to come online, we are now open to suggestions from the wider public and local community for possible events, functions, groups or classes that will benefit the community at large.

If you want to participate, help or even have any suggestions for possible activities we might cater for in the future, please feel free to add your input via this blog.

Whilst we have our own ideas on the areas we wish to concentrate on, but we are equally conscious of catering for what the community actually needs – not what we think the community might need.

We can’t promise we’ll be able to fulfill every request, but we’ll definitely take your suggestions seriously. Your valuable input will help forge our strategy in the coming weeks and months.

Allah Says in the Quran

When My servants ask thee concerning Me, I am indeed close (to them): I listen to the prayer of every suppliant when he calleth on Me: Let them also, with a will, Listen to My call, and believe in Me: That they may walk in the right way. (2:186)

We should remember the Hadith:

“There is nothing more dear to Allah than a servant making dua to Him.”

The British Muslim Heritage Centre is proud to announce that it has opened its doors for holding Jummah Prayers on a regular basis. Doors open at 1pm and Jummah will commence at 1:20pm.  At the moment the only prayer BMHC will be catering for is the Jummah Prayer. Separate facilities for the sisters are also provided. Please feel free to invite others to join us.

Note: Please use the car parking facility towards the rear of the BMHC premises and avoid parking offsite, as a matter of courtesy to the local residents.
