Islamic and Arabic calligraphy has always been known for its beauty and elegance. Naskh is one of the major scripts that developed throughout centuries of Islamic eras. Many holy texts of Quran and Hadith have been chosen to written in Naskh because of its neatness and appeal for eyes.
In these sessions, the attendants will be introduces to the basic forms of letters in Naskh script. They will also be given practical tutorials of how to write single letters and combine them together within words. Besides, the attendants will be more familiar with the materials and tools used in calligraphy in general, and in Naskh writing in particular.

Unfortunately, Master Calligrapher Abdullah Al-Anezi has injured his right hand which he uses for calligraphy. Therefore, the Calligraphy workshops which was planned to take place this Saturday (7th February 2015), 1:00pm – 5:00pm has been postponed and rescheduled to take place on Saturday, 2:00pm – 6:00pm, 21st March 2015.
