Dr. Zafar Iqbal: Dr. Zafar Iqbal swapped White Hart Lane for Anfield in the summer of 2010 when he was appointed Liverpool’s first-team doctor. Zafar developed an interest in Sports Science and Medicine after suffering his own severe knee injury. Having initially trained as a doctor in London, qualifying in 1999, he went on to complete an MSc at Queen Mary University six years later.Zafar’s first break in football came at Leyton Orient before spells with England’s youth teams attracted the attentions of Tottenham Hotspur. He began working with Spurs’ Academy before earning a promotion as the first-team doctor in 2008 and has also held the position of Chairman of the FA Medical Society since 2006.

Imran Hakim: Imran came into the media eye in 2007 when he appeared on BBC2’s Dragons Den having been challenged by younger brother Zubair to invent a superior birthday gift for his young niece Aaminah. Having successfully secured investment, Imran joined forces with Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis earlier this year to create one of the biggest commercial successes the den has seen to date with the multi award winning iTeddy and iTeddy.com – a 21st century teddy bear. In December 07, less than a year since the original idea came to light, Imran signed a worldwide distribution deal expected to generate sales in excess of £25 Million over the next 3 years.
