Police and Community Engagement

The British Muslim Heritage Centre (BMHC) hosted a Police and Community Engagement Event on 18th February 2014. The event provided an environment where police and members of the local Community got together to discuss problems and solutions in regards to crime within the community.

Engagement events such as these help to dispel fears that some members of the community may have about crime. Feedback from the community at such events is a way of making sure services meet people’s need’s and improvements are effective, allowing the Police to make sure that resources are targeted to areas with the most needs.
