In this interactive workshop participants will learn how to draw an Islamic geometric pattern and apply their own individual creativity with the use of colour.

Participants will then explore methods to tessellate the patterns to a larger scale.

2. Huseyin Sen and Mesut Balik – M. C. Escher Style Art, History and Techniques.

In this interactive workshop participants will learn about the historical development and methodology for analyzing and Escher drawings,

first created by the Dutch artist M.C. Escher (d. 1972), who developed his art after being inspired by the beautiful Islamic geometric patterns at the Moorish Alhambra palace in Granada, Spain.
