The British Muslim Heritage Centre (BMHC) in partnership with the European Institute of Islamic Sciences (EIIS) will be launching a weekly Qur’an for young adult’s (QFYA) course from October 2015.
The course is designed to be an engaging and accessible study of the Qur’an dealing with many common challenges and issues that young adults face in society today. The aim of the course is to enable participants to comprehensively study the Qur’an, to equip them with relevant advice and counsel taken from the Qur’an to deal with the demands of social pressures and re-inform them about their beliefs.
As a taster session for the course, the BMHC organised a two-part course titled ’The Story of Prophet Musa (as)’ which was delivered by Sheikh Hammadur Rahman, who will be delivering the QFYA course. Part 1: A Prophet in the Home of a Tyrant was held on Wednesday 3rd June 2015 and Part 2: Musa (as) and His Staff on Wednesday 10th June 2015.
