On Saturday 1st November 2014, the British Muslim Heritage Centre (BMHC) in partnership with TIES held a full-day conference with the aim of helping organisations working with new Muslims to network and collaborate. The main theme of the conference was ‘to build a brighter future for new Muslims in the UK’.
TIES is a newly formed social and charitable British organisation that aims to encourage all social and community partners to form partnerships to collaborate with each other in order to support the social stability and cultural variety of the British society as whole.
More than 20 organisations from across the UK came together to showcase their projects and initiatives for new Muslims. Organisations such as iERA from London, Islamwise from Birmingham and the Manchester New Muslim Network.
